Papal inquisitor and Dominican friar from Germany who has good relations with the Roman Curia. He was on a trip from Rome to Germany when Giacobo got to know about his presence and called him to Venice. His peculiar character and behavoir can be a pain for people around him.
Originally born in Venice, the 17-year-old Lucca went on a pilgrimage to Rome. Fascinated by the religious lifestyle, he decided to stay there for over a year and started an apprenticeship as a lathe worker to make month’s end. Later, however, he joined the Dominican Order, where he still does all kinds of craftsmanship at the Roman monastery. Because he didn’t feel worthy, he decided against an ordination and stayed a simple laybrother.
